Steve joined James McNaughton Builders in 1984 and has been its Chief Operating Officer for approximately 7 years. Steve has been involved with the Home Building/land development business his entire adult life and has over 30 years experience in the industry. Steve has been directly responsible for the entitlement and development of over 20 developments and has overseen the construction of more than 1,000 homes. Steve is also responsible for the management of 20 plus employees of James McNaughton Builders and is involved with all facets of the company’s operations. Steve is the past President of the Northern Illinois Homebuilders Association, is a licensed Illinois Real Estate Broker and has obtained both Certified Graduate Builder and Certified Graduate Green Professional designations from the National Association of Home Builders, was the past member of the Dupage Water Quality Committee, and currently serves on the City of Warrenville Plan Commission.
